The 7th International Arte Laguna Prize, based in Venice, Italy and dedicated to contemporary visual art, is open to artists with no limits of age or nationality, offering a finalists collective exhibition at Venice Arsenale, artist-in-residence programs, personal and collective exhibitions, participation in international festivals, publication in the official catalogue and a network of opportunities.



AWARDS:

5 Cash Prizes of € 7,000: for winning artists, one for each section4 Art Residencies: Technymon ARTresidency – Mumbai; Glass School Abate Zanetti – Venice; Art Stays – Slovenia; iaab – Basel1 Business for Art: development of an art project with the winner of the virtual art section, in collaboration with the company FOPEgioelli2 Exhibitions: OPEN, International Exhibition of Sculptures and Installations of Venice; Romanian Cultural Institute of Venice, a space for the diffusion of Romanian art and culture in 21 Personal Exhibitions in International Galleries: Arte Laguna Prize has created a network of international galleries to introduce the artists to the Art market. Each gallery will select an artist to organize a personal exhibition.

WHAT DOES BURJ KHALIFA MEAN TO YOU?

The Ara Gallery and At the Top, Burj Khalifa are giving one amazing Emirati artist the chance to display their artwork on a featured wall in At the Top, Burj Khalifa!




From the portfolios received, five finalists will be chosen who will each create an original artwork inspired by the competition’s theme: “What does Burj Khalifa mean to you?”. Of the five finalists’ artworks, only one artist and artwork will be chosen to become a part of At The Top, Burj Khalifa!



Competition Schedule:

July 15 - deadline to submit your portfolio (5MB max) to artatthetop@thearagallery.ae

July 19 - five finalists to be announced

September 6 - finalist artwork deadline

September 17 - competition winner to be announced



Rules: The “Art At The Top” competition is open to UAE Nationals only. Portfolios are to be kept under 5MB in size.
